The Tabitha Diploma two-year program for Years 11 and 12

A unique opportunity.

Tabitha provides opportunities for young people to learn to serve Christ and exemplify the College values of perseverance, compassion, humility, integrity and courage.

These opportunities can also be used to supplement CV’s, on applications for early entry to tertiary study, leadership scholarships and other post-school opportunities.

The program is named after Tabitha in Acts 9 of the Bible, who was a disciple recorded as always ‘doing good and helping the poor.’ Tabitha clearly had a heart for service. The Tabitha Diploma is a two-year program for HSC students in Years 11 and 12. In order to achieve their Tabitha Diploma, students complete 6 electives in the key areas of Service, Action and Personal Development.

Key Areas

Service

Students thrive with the opportunity to use their God-given gifts to serve their community.

Action

Keeping their bodies active during their final years of schooling promotes good physical and mental health.

Personal Development

Our students develop useful skills such as Bronze Medallion or First Aid Certification.

Students may also work towards a Tabitha Diploma with Honours by completing 20 hours of service in their own time. For example, participating in a service trip, coaching a sporting team or leading youth group.

Tabitha is a varied and thoughtful program that helps to build our students' character and encourages them to serve Christ in their communities now and in the future.
