Established in 1998, Penrith Anglican College seeks to nurture and develop empowered learners with strength of character who know and follow Christ and serve others. Deputy Principal

Permanent Full Time Commencing Term 1, 2025

Role Summary

Due to significant sustained growth across the College, the Deputy Principal, Pre-K to Year 12, is a newly created key leadership role at the College to support an expanding community of students and staff. Developed to support the Principal, this pivotal role involves strategic leadership and the day-to-day management of the entire school, from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The Deputy Principal plays a key role in promoting the school's strategic vision, ensuring cohesion across academic, pastoral and co-curricular programs, fostering a positive learning environment. They work closely with the Principal, Heads of School and other senior leaders to oversee school operations, drive continuous improvement and support staff development. The role demands a strategic thinker with a strong commitment to Christian education, capable of leading with purpose, managing people effectively and contributing to the broader school community.

Assistant Head of Mathematics

Permanent Full Time Commencing Term 4, 2024 or Term 1, 2025 by Negotiation

Role Summary

Mathematics Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. They support students in developing their knowledge, understanding and skills in mathematics and working mathematically. Mathematics Teachers encourage mathematical thinking through questioning, communicating, reasoning, and reflecting and help students generalise, find connections, and think critically and creatively, using appropriate technology to support mathematical activity. Mathematics Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence. In addition to teaching and associated responsibilities, this position comes with a 4 period allocation for a combination of leadership responsibilities as suited to the skillset of the applicant and the needs of the Department.

Technologies Teacher - Computing

With a strong focus on a diverse range of practical experiences to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary and advancing technologies and their impact on individuals, society and the environment, Technologies Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence. Role Includes Stage 6 Enterprise Computing, Software Engineering classes

Physics and Engineering Studies Teacher

Permanent Full Time Commencing Term 1, 2025.

Role Summary

Science Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. This role ideally will include the teaching of Stage 6 Physics with the possibility of Stage 5 and/or Stage 6 Engineering. It may also include the teaching of Stage 4 and Stage 5 Science, and Stage 5 iStem. Science Teachers are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.

Role Summary

This role ideally will include teaching a combination of Stage 4 and Stage 5 mandatory Science and Stage 6 Biology an or Chemistry. HSIE Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. Through the study of HSIE, students develop the knowledge and skills to prepare them to actively and responsibly participate as informed citizens in the contemporary world. HSIE Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful.
